I’m totally behind on my wreath game. I normally would have a non-Christmas winter wreath up from New Year’s to spring, but that just wasn’t happening this year. I’ve had my “Noel” wreath up since the weekend after Thankgiving! The good thing is that I’ve had time to get ahead and put together this spring wreath DIY. Despite the fact that it’s been dreary and rainy (Is it April?! I’m confused.), I’ve been feeling like spring! Bring on the sunshine and pretty flowers. Nature isn’t quite ready to give me the pretty flowers at this point, so I took matters into my own hands and incorporated them in this spring wreath DIY. Happy crafting!
Since we first started dating, we’ve always had a weekend trip around Valentine’s Day. The first year it wasn’t intentional, the second year I decided to make it into a gift (cheesy, over-the-top homemade travel brochure and all), and by the third year this weekend trip gained it’s “tradition” status. It’s nice to take a few days to get a change of scenery and explore a little together. Despite some seriously wet and gross weather, we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found some great spots in the city. We’ve even talked about coming back when it’s warm to try places we didn’t get to this time, and I can’t wait! I’m excited to share things to do in Louisville KY with you based on our experience as first-time tourists in this brief yet memorable trip.
One of my goals for this year is to make our bedroom cozier and more cohesively styled. When I moved in, the bedroom was basically my catch-all area, and I focused on my living/kitchen/dining room area above all else. While I love spending time in those areas, I want the bedroom to be more inviting. I had a lot of time to dwell on this as I spent three days sick in my bed last week. In between coughing fits and naps, it dawned on me that one part of the bedroom I already love is my nightstand. Since I’m taking you all with me on this project of cozy-fying my bedroom, I wanted to share the details of how my nightstand is styled. I hope you enjoy my rustic nightstand decor ideas!
